Route description
Boutique Hotel Karel de Stoute is in beautiful Gorinchem.
PLEASE NOTE! Due to the new one-way system in the inner city it is recommended that you only activate your GPS after you have taken exit 28 ‘Arkel, Gorinchem Oost’ on the A15!
From Utrecht or Breda on the A27, take exit 27, then the A15 in the direction of Nijmegen. Thereafter take exit 28, Arkel, Gorinchem Oost, turn left at the end of the exit and then immediately go into the right-hand lane, on the Newtonweg. You follow this road all the way to the roundabout where you take the second exit to the city centre. Follow the road, keeping the Linge on your right, until the third bridge which you cross (called the ‘Eind’), turn left as you leave the bridge; follow the road (the Linge is now on your left), through the city wall and you will find yourself at “Buiten de Waterpoort”. Follow the curve in the road and after about 100 metres you will come upon Hotel Karel de Stoute hotel on your right. Continue for another 50 metres and you will find a (paid) parking lot.
Coming from Nijmegen or Rotterdam on the A15, take exit 28, Arkel, Gorinchem Oost. Then follow the route described above.

Parking
Restaurant Stoute Karel is located at the well-known Buiten de Waterpoort.
There is a parking lot with sufficient parking within walking distance. If you follow the route description, then you will automatically come to the parking lot.
It is possible that the parking lot might be full on the busier evenings, such as Thursdays. Gorinchem is a picturesque fortress city in which everything is within walking distance. If the parking lot at Buiten de Waterpoort is full, we suggest you try one of the following parking lots: Parkeergarage Kweeklust, click here or Parkeergarage Karzeneplein, click here.
